She has created iconic portraits and photographed covers and campaigns for influential and fashion houses all over the world. The 24 year-old who hails from a small city Shivamogga talks to us about her Friday.

What is your plan for the weekend?

I don’t have any plans per se. I’m a very spontaneous person and like to play it by the ear and usually decide my plans on the day itself.

What are three things you are most grateful for this Friday?

I feel blessed because I am still working and making some income during these covid times. I started FaceTime shoots early summer and have gotten such an amazing response with it came a handful of clients during this lockdown. This time off from the real world has been a great opportunity for me to disconnect and have a bit of an inner journey. I faced more difficulties in 2019 than 2020. So this year has been so empowering for me and I’m grateful for it.

What song are you enjoying this week?

I’ve been listening to Jamie Jones’ playlist on loop and some chill tracks.

What’s your weekend morning routine?

I just bought a bike for myself and I have been cycling for one hour everyday and I always feel good.

What does weekend self-care look like for you?

I make sure I wake up with a positive mindset every single day. I never go to sleep with negative thoughts and that’s so important for your all your mornings! I look at life like this generally and I feel like I’m one of the lucky ones who has a perspective change power in me. I don’t pay attention to the world ending. has ended a million times and always began in the morning.. That’s the best self- care you can have! Being blindly optimistic about everything.

I swear by the yogurt, tumeric, lime and honey pack. I absolutely love it and it works the best for me.

What’s your must-have beauty product?

I can’t live without my concealer and my vitamin C serum.

What facemask do you absolutely love?

111 Skin London, I love their face – masks.

TV show you are currently enjoying?

Fauda right now!

Are you a Tea or Coffee Person?

Depends on my mood. Mostly coffee. But I can go without both!

What’s your favourite comfort food?

Anything South Indian. Love my spicy South Indian food hahah!

What is the funniest thing you have read about yourself on the internet?

That my Father has helped me with Bollywood and that’s hilarious because he has not at all. Of course as a father he has my back when it comes to finances. I am living alone in another city. Years have passed by and I’m slowly trying to be financially secured by myself. My Bollywood clientele has all been formed by me. I have been a go- getter and I am the major force in my life. The one thing I get from my father is his confidence and belief in hard work; eye for beauty from my mother and my openness from my brother. My family belongs to the business world, whereas I chose to take a step into the creative worl.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

I can eat a curry with 30 green chillies. I know it’s so bad for your stomach lining. But I’ve always loved it so much and it has given me the most amount of pleasure in life.
My other guilty pleasure is dancing in the washroom to Britney Spears without anyone looking at me.

Your favourite quote?

“Sit with winners, the conversation will be different!”

What’s your spirit animal?

Kuala bear

Where are you going on vacation when the pandemic is over?

London and then Courchevel

What advice do you have for any kid who looks up to you?

Just be your authentic self. Your energy is way powerful than your accent, the clothes you wear or the place you live in. You will always attract your genuine tribe if your vibe is authentic. I come from a small town Shivamogga and I haven’t changed anything about my roots and I’m so proud of it. If you have big dreams, work on it, just don’t speak about it. Execute your plans and if you want to start anything like for e.g photography you don’t have to rely on expensive equipments because it’s all about your creativity and creativity has no boundaries. Even if you take a photo on your phone make sure you do it with all the passion that you have. Start marketing yourself and just keep going at it. flow with time, it is so important to not have a stuck up mentality if you’re an aspiring artis.
