What is your plan for the weekend?
We’ve taken Studio Fifteen, our culinary centre online and every weekend I spend my time learning new things from some of India’s best chefs! Other than that, like I’ve spent every weekend over the last 7 months – either working or Netflix, time with the family and video calls with friends!
What are three things you are most grateful for this Friday?
Cheesy as it may sound, I’m SO grateful for my family, my friends and my incredible team at work.
What song are you enjoying the week?
I’ve been listening to many renditions of La Vie en Rose.
What’s your weekend morning routine?
While I work most weekends, I usually wake up a little later than usual. I start my day with news on twitter or catching up on late night comedy (Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah, Jimmy Fallon). I need 20 minutes with my coffee in the morning before I get started with anything else.
What does weekend self-care look like for you?
Spending time with a good book or podcast. I’ve also been addicted to Korean Dramas over the last few months and binge watching them is how I de-stress after a long week at work.
What’s your must-have beauty product?
A good moisturiser and a tinted sunscreen – absolute must haves!
What facemask do you absolutely love?
I actually make my own with besan, haldi, some honey and a dash of milk.
TV show you are currently enjoying?
The Queen’s Gambit
Are you a Tea or Coffee Person?
I love both! I start my day with black coffee. At some point in the day i’ll have a cup of masala chai and at night before sleeping it’s some infusion.
What’s your favourite comfort food?
Chocolate or Daal Khichdi
What is the funniest thing you have read about yourself on the internet?
My net worth! I really wish I had as much money as the internet thinks I do. But yes, hoping that becomes a reality someday soon :p
What’s your guilty pleasure?
A bowl of ramen. Any dessert with chocolate or caramel. Nutella straight from the jar. And most recently the Le15 Hot Chocolate mix.
Your favourite quote?
I have many! But given the times that we’re in, this one by Oprah resonates the most ~ Doing the best at this moment puts you in the best place for the next moment.
What’s your spirit animal?
I did an online quiz once and it told me it was a Squirrel. It said that having a squirrel spirit animal reminds you to be adaptable, and to be ready for any changes that you need to make at the last minute. The squirrel meaning is about surrendering and letting things happen.
Where are you going on vacation when the pandemic is over?
What advice do you have for any kid who looks up to you?
I would say that the most important thing you can do is to get to know yourself better – who you are, what you’re passionate about, what are your strengths. Once you know yourself better, it’ll help you identify your purpose which helps you figure out your life path. It has to start from within!
