But there are some people who are flipping through channels and apps like Netflix and Amazon Prime for some good content, but where do they find it? maybe here. So, amidst of all the boring days, we are here with a list of some mini-series that you can finish in a day or two.

Panchayat

It is an Indian comedy-drama series consisting of just 8 episodes of 35 minutes each. It is humorous in its own way. The story revolves around the frustrated protagonist Abhishek (Abhisake- pronounced in the village), he is a common man who could not land a better job and ends up becoming a secretary of the Panchayat office in a remote village in Uttar Pradesh for just twenty thousand rupees a month. His friend encourage him to take the job for an adventurous life. The series was released in early 2020.

Bloodride

A Norwegian anthology series that blends horror with dark Scandinavian comedy, setting each distinct story in its own practical yet peculiar universe. It can give you this irritating feeling. If you are into horror thriller anthologies and movies, this is the Netflix series for you. It is a little disturbing though, but one can easily get over it. You can watch it in any order. Every episode has a different story. There are only six episodes of 26 minutes each. So, you can watch it all at once or space it out, depends on the time you have on hand. It is more like a psychological thriller with gothic feels.

Ladies Up

Hostages

Hostages is an Indian crime thriller web video series directed by Sudhir Mishra. It is an official adaptation of an Israeli series by the same name. The series is streaming in seven Indian languages on Disney+ Hotstar. It is a great series with a great story lines. Every new episode has a new hiccup. The story starts with a happy family but when all the members become hostages under an almost retired cop played by none other than Ronit Roy, they begin revealing their dark secrets and the story catches a great tempo. It is a must watch mini-series that you can finish in a day for sure!
