What does beauty means? Fair skin? NO …Putting on makeup to hide your scars? Beauty lies not in the face but inside the heart. Real beauty is inner beauty, which is based on personality traits such as attitude and behaviour. The way you treat the above or below you ,the way you show care for someone dearer or not so dearer , the way you respect your elder n the way you show love towards the children.
There is a huge difference between looking beautiful and being beautiful. But the high demand and supply of fairness cream make it obvious that having a fair complexion is an obsession and necessity in our society.
Magazines and ads constantly offering tips on how to turn your skin fairer.… “cousin’s wedding?? No issues..try xyz cream and be photo ready in one week”“Stubborn pimples ?? Try our facewash” and turn your imperfections into perfections. These articles simply add ons to a never ending “wish i had” list of your mind. This culture of perfection we adhere will put us to path of slow deterioration.
Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart.

The matrimonial ads read “looking for a fair skin girl for our son” where we all see , how much stress is being put on the word “fair”. They don’t understand outer beauty will eventually fade with time but the inner beauty will remain forever. What if they got a fair girl for their son and she doesn’t respects him or she doesn’t respects his parents, what will you do then with her glowy and gloomy fairer skin.
True beauty is attractive to those who value and seek it. To attract beautiful people into your life, live a beautiful life of giving and caring for others. It’s important to know that each of us is uniquely beautiful and each of us has the capacity to increase our beauty by increasing the depth, value, and closeness of the relationships we have with our family members and friends.

But this truth doesn’t mean that beauty never has anything to do with our clothes or hair or bodies or faces. All of those things are a part of us and connected with our light. So, of course, they are a part of our beauty.
But beauty doesn’t come in one color ,one size or one particular shape or style.
Beauty has no skin tone. Every tone is beautiful and gorgeous.
