Feel Good Friday with Pernia Qureshi Gilani

Pernia Qureshi – the name behind numerous marks—Behind everything is one lady keeping an eye on the reins.
Qureshi’s excursion as a fashion entrepreneur began in 2012. The entrepreneur, best known for her eponymous occasion wear label and for designing costumes for Bollywood Movie Aisha in 2010. We spoke to serial entreprenuer Pernia on how she spends her Friday

What is your plan for the weekend?

My plan for the weekend is the same as any day. Work out a little, work, rest and binge watch something on TV.

What are three things you are most grateful for this Friday?

I am grateful for my parents and family, the education and exposure I have recieved and I am grateful to be born with freedom. 

What song are you enjoying the week?

Right now im really enjoying the music of a south indian film called Sufiyum Sujatayum. I recently saw it on Amazon Prime and fell in love with the music. 

What’s your weekend morning routine?

I usually sleep in and head straight for brunch or lunch. 

What does weekend self-care look like for you?

I am actually my laziest on weekends. Usually the only self care I give myself is plenty of sleep.

What’s your must-have beauty product?

Sun Block, Kiehls is good. 

What facemask do you absolutely love?

I love the Estee Lauder eye patches. 

TV show you are currently enjoying?

I just finished watching Defending Jacob on Apple TV and it was great! 

Are you a Tea or Coffee Person?

I am a herbal tea person but have recently started having one cup of black coffee with cold pressed coconut oil in the mornings. 

What’s your favourite comfort food?

Everything! I have been struggling to eat healthy the last few months. Hoping to change that soon. I love pasta, cookies, chocolate, noodles! 

What is the funniest thing you have read about yourself on the internet? 

Oh I am not sure. I dont really read or pay head to interviews and conversations that I have not done personally.  

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Eating loads of carbs! Or having my tequila on Saturdays.

Your favourite quote?

I have many but I love, ” you cannot serve from an empty vessel.” This reiterates how important self care is.

What’s your spirit animal?

I would love to say a horse or peacock. Anything that runs free! 

Where are you going on vacation when the pandemic is over? 

I hope the Maldives or Capri. Sahil and I have not been on our honeymoon and we have almost been married a year now! 

What advice do you have for any kid who looks up to you?

My advice would be to be your own person and find your own unique path.
