3 Easy Christmas Desserts Cups by Ankita Raiturcar

Christmas has got to be everyone’s favourite season. It’s not just about the festivities but also about the food. Here’s Ankita Raiturcar, a blogger from Goa, sharing with us three super easy and delectable Christmas Cup Desserts.


Indulgent beauties made with whipped cream, bananas and toffee, with a crisp and buttery biscuit base.



2 Thinly sliced Bananas

1 Cup Sugar

8 TBSP Butter 

¾ Cup Fresh Crean

1 Cup Crushed Digestive Biscuits

1 Cup Whipped Cream

2 TBSP Caster Sugar

1 TSP Vanilla Essence


• For the Caramel:

Place a pan on low flame and add 1 Cup sugar. Let it melt entirely and then add 5 TBSP Butter. Mix until golden brown. Add ¾ cup fresh cream (carefully) and mix. 

Your golden brown caramel is ready.

• For the Cream layer:

Whip 1 Cup of whipping cream along with 2 TBSP of caster sugar and 1 TSP vanilla essence. Whip until nice and thick. 

• For the Biscuits base:

Add 2-3 TBSP melted butter to 1 cup of crushed Digestive Biscuits. Mix uniformly. 

• Assembly:

1. In a cup, add the biscuit mix and press down. 

2. Add a layer of caramel and a few thin slices of banana. Top this with a little more caramel if you like.

3. Add the cream layer. 

4. Top with biscuit crumbs or cocoa powder. 

5. Refrigerate and serve cold. 

This recipe makes about 6 small cups or 3 large cups.

Oreo Nutella Mousse

Fluffy, creamy and chocolatey – This is chocolate mousse is very easy to make with just four ingredients, and gives a light yet intense flavour.



1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream

5 TBSP softened Nutella 

1/2 Cup Crushed Oreo cookies

3 TBSP Butter


  1. Melt 3 TBSP of butter and pour over crushed Oreo Cookies. Mix uniformly and set aside.
  1. Whip 1 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream until soft peaks appear. Then add 5 TBSP of softened Nutella and fold until well combined. 

• Assembly: 

  1. In a cup, add 2 TBSP of crushed Oreo mix and press down. 
  1. Add the Nutella Mousse over it. 
  1. Sprinkle a little crushed Oreo mix on the top and garnish with ½ an Oreo cookie. 
  1. Refrigerate and serve cold.

Blueberry Cheesecake Cups

These Blueberry cheesecake cups are the perfect dessert you would want to try if you’re looking for something other than the usual Christmas Sweets. Perfectly sweetened and not to dense, with a dash of lemon, these cups will have your heart in no time! 



1 ½ Cup Blueberries

1 TBSP Sugar

¼ cup water 

½ Lemon Juice

1 ½ Cup Cream Cheese

1 Cup Whipped Cream

1 TBSP Icing Sugar

1 TSP Lemon zest 

1 Cup Crushed Digestive Biscuits

3 TBSP melted Butter


• Biscuit Base 

  1. Melt 3 TBSP of butter and add to 1 cup of crushed digestive biscuits. Mix uniformly and set aside. 

• Blueberry Compote 

  1. In a pan, add 1 ½ cup blueberries, 1 TBSP sugar, juice of ½ a lemon and a little less than ¼ cup of water.
  2. Let the mixture cook over low flame until thickened and flowing but jam like consistency.

• Cheesecake layer

  1. In a bowl, fold together 1 ½ cup Softened cream cheese, 1 Cup whipped Cream, 1 TBSP Icing sugar and 1 TSP lemon zest (optional).

• Assembly:

  1. In a cup, add 2 TBSP of biscuit base and press down.
  1. Add a layer of cheesecake mix over it.
  1. Top the cheesecake layer with 1 ½ TBSP Blueberry Compote. 
  1. Repeat the layers in the same order. 
  1. Refrigerate and serve cold.
