DIY Toner by Sana Rahman

HomeMade Toner

Taking good care of your skin is the most important thing to do whether it’s day or night, summer or winter. A facial toner is one of the most essential elements in your skincare routine. It helps to restore your skin’s natural pH which is lost mostly after we wash our face with soap. No matter what your skin type is, the toner is a must.

There are a variety of facial toners available online and in stores with various ingredients and sometimes it becomes a bit difficult to choose which one’s good for your skin. So here I bring to you a really easy peasy way to make your own facial toner at home.

Ingredients:

  1. Coconut water
  2. Rose water

These two things are really affordable and are easily available everywhere. You won’t have a difficult time in finding them.

How to make:

  • Take equal parts of coconut water and rose water according to your requirement.
  • Mix both of them and keep it in a bottle.
  • You can also use a spray bottle like I did because it makes it super easy for me to spray the mixture on my face. Store in a cool and dry place (your refrigerator  )
  • Ta-da, Your own facial toner is ready to use.

How to use:

Like I said I find it super easy to apply the toner with a spray bottle, so you just need to take out your home made facial toner and spray it on your face in the morning and in the night before sleeping.

You would start to feel the difference in a week. With any skin type, coconut and rose water are a total go in my list. The best part – you can store it for 2 to 3 months in your refrigerator. Nope, it won’t expire that easy. And if you love DIY bottles.. you would love to decorate and give a cool and funky name to your toner.
