Shivani Rawat – A scholar from Doon, studied fashion in Chandigarh, worked in different sectors of fashion starting from apparel exports in Delhi, Indian retail in Mumbai and International fashion retail in Dubai. In 2016, her passion for hair accessories led her to start Joey & Pooh along with Paresh and since then there’s no looking back.
How did the idea of Joey & Pooh X Payal Singhal come up?
Our mutual inclination and appreciation towards each other’s aesthetics and brand values pushed us to join hands to create a part vintage part quirky collection with BOHO- COOL sensibility.
Can you tell us more about the collaboration?(When is it available till etc)- The collaborated collection is festive yet playful and with boho cool sensibility. Modern fun 3-D embellishments are mixed with contemporary embroidery techniques, two prints roped into one, metallic tassels overload, detachable tassels for extra drama are some of the key highlights of the collection. The collection is already available to purchase on our website www.Joeyandpooh.com
What is so different about this collaboration?
For us a collaboration happening in the New Normal was totally a different experience. The whole collab happened remotely, over phone calls and numerous zoom meetings. For Payal Singhal they had never explored themselves in the hair accessories category.
