First and foremost, it is vital to self quarantine incase you already haven’t. Till now this is the only remedy to stop the coronavirus from further infecting others. Social distancing has almost become a norm during the current times. Here is a list of a few things you can do while you are at home with not much to do:

SPEND TIME WITH YOURSELF

So many of us complain that we don’t get the time to do the things we really want to. The humdrum of daily life with nonstop deadlines and work pressure leaves one completely exhausted and drained out. Now is the time to stop and unwind. One must take a deep breath and self reflect. At least for sometime you can wake up without an alarm clock and indulge in self care. You can even start a journal.

READ A BOOK

Pick up the books you bought but never really got the chance to read. There is more than enough time now. Here is our list of books to read

FAMILY TIME:

Instead of being cooped up in your room, spend more time with your family. Play a board game or binge watch Netflix together.

WORKOUT

Home workout videos of celebrities are all over Instagram. Take out of your mat to your lawn or in an empty corner of your house and start working out. Set a time and make it a routine. Otherwise start with stretching or yoga.

CALL A FRIEND

We have all become so preoccupied with our lives that normally we don’t even have the time to make a casual phone call to our friends to simply ask how they are doing. So pick up your phone and facetime your friends. Let this time serve as an opportunity to reconnect.
